PS3 vs. 360

Xbox 360 outwardly seems less expensive than the PS3, but personally, I think that isn't so.

Yes, you can buy the system cheaper, but take everything else into account. To get more memory, you must buy a bigger memory unit for it. PS3 usually just comes with a set amount of memory, and it's a nice amount of memory at that.

Then, if you want wireless internet on the 360 you have to go buy a special attachment for the 360, whereas a PS3 is wireless as stock. Otherwise, you have to use an ethernet cable to connect your 360 to a computer/router to use the internet.

Then there's the online play. PS3's online is free, and it costs money for the 360. Take the cost of a PS3 and the cost of a 360 over a span of like 2 years and I'm sure the PS3 will be cheaper in the long run. Plus, the 360 has a much higher failure rate. The PS3 is known to be more reliable.

While I won't get into an argument about which games are better, or which one looks cooler, or has better graphics, etc. I will say that the PS3 seems like the better choice for me. I can't say this for everyone as -Red and many others prefers the 360. I'm just a PS3/Sony fan.

I just prefer the PS3. I wouldn't go so far as to say the 360 is bad though.

lol if you do get a ps3 be sure to get some insurance on it YLOD can happen at any time and i know that of experience

PS3 is all I have and what I plan on getting brink on.

I've had my PS3 since they first came out and it still hasn't gotten YLOD.

Lucky lol i had mine or a while too until 5/6 months ago it started getting really slow on me and then gave me the YLOD. Didn't play for 5/6 months and finally decided to get slim. Mann did i miss my PS3 lol

360 is in some repects better than the PS3, it is a better media centre for watching films, albeit the PS3 has blu-ray. The graphics on multiplatform games is genrally much better than the PS3, the controller on the 360 is also better, however the exclusive PS3 game are much better than exclusive 360 games.

Must the PC always wins.

You made the ps3 sound way better. But i will agree with the controller layout. Feels more comfortable. Im glad that have mods for that.

HAHA! I used to be a big PC Gamer ... until games started require A+ Graphics Cards...
