SMART makes sense

Post by ChrisWreakStar on Fri Sep 17, 2010 10:43 pm

As you all know, most FPS such as killzone, mag, halo, COD, etc: Tend to have the same mechanic of just shooting. In mag lets say I am in a fire fight. I would def kill em if against one. Lets say 3 guys located me. I see em. So I would run for cover popping a couple rounds. I would die. Maybe if I could have slid and avoided high aimed bulllets coming for my head.YAY. I notice this in alot of these games. Another tactic we use is "strafing" (moving from side to side). That can only go so far. All Im saying is. One example why I think (like it says in the banner) BRINK is a FPS Revolution.

All I really want to do is jump and shoot at the same time like in Max Payne, I think I will go for a stealth like character, as I like them

I think im gonna go for a Parkour type of guy, that is extremely agile and brutal at close range.

Funny, that's what I wanted, El3ment.

Like a runner in MW2.

A guy like the heavy in TF2, just a minigun and armor, blasts you full of bullets

yes sir, you can. i'll just leave this here:

- You can create up to 16 characters.
- All of the customizations can be done during the cinematics. The menus are dynamic, similar to the menus on a Blu-Ray DVD, so you don’t need to wait for something to finish before you can set everything to exactly how you prefer. All of the menus are brilliantly simple.
- Resistance outfits can go shirtless, but Security always have at the very least a t-shirt on (to help visually differentiate the teams). And both teams have pants...
- Each faction has a color range that the other doesn't have (artists are still working out particulars). They were going to do a thing for automatic clan colors, but that had to be cut for time. But clans can still just coordinate on their own to make sure all their members match up.
- Each character will have a Security and Resistance setup, with separate customization options for each. When you are editing your character, you can press a button to edit the alternate version (Security or Resistance)
- Whenever you aren’t in the game, whether it be options, title screen, etc. your avatar will be displayed nice and big in the background for you to see and interact with.
- Tattoos are permanent, just like in real life.
- You will be able to choose from 8 different voice packs, and some Commander-only voices.
- If you create multiple characters, you can transfer XP from one character to another; so if your first character has a lot of extra XP and you want to level up a 2nd character really fast, just give him some XP from your first character.

hope this clears some things up for y'all.

Did you type that yourself or just go CnP?

Just curious. It does help though.

Yeah Earth, good contribution.

I might have to go with two different characters....

1. Operative/Close Quaters
-Gonna have to make this guy a Security team member I think...

2.Soldier/Mid Range
-Gotsta be a tatted up, bandanna wearing, crazy ass, assault character.

id go with a small, Parkour kind of guy that just runs around with a full auto pistol and looks rlly stealthy.

or just a massive mini gunner that owns at close range. but if im allowed 16 different characters i can have both plus more... awesome feature!!! Thanks earth 4 clearing that up!
